Bella Greenbacher is a writer, artist, and curator whose practice explores the intersections of visual art and storytelling. Growing up in rural Massachusetts and having lived in multiple international cities, she is now based in Brooklyn, New York City, and is heavily inspired by the distinct atmospheres, cultures, and social structures of different locations called home. A recurring theme throughout Bella's work is the effort to highlight underrepresented and topics and voices in the art world, whether that be through dismantling problematic narratives that dominate art history discourse, or meditating on the simple yet visually powerful moments in everyday life.
